Connect Helm is a joint venture of Watchman IT, a managed IT provider in Madison since 2018, and Red Ridge AI, which has built voice agents and search systems for small businesses for five years. It operates from Branchburg, New Jersey, and is staffed by the two firms' own operators and engineers — not an account team.
WHY WE STARTED IT
For years, when a client's server went down at 2am, Watchman IT was the one that picked up. That is what a managed service provider does: keep watch, answer, write it down, fix it, and send a one-page report at the end of the month saying what happened.
Watchman IT and Red Ridge AI were already working for some of the same clients. In 2026 they set up Connect Helm to run the phone, search, and follow-up work together under one agreement.
Each firm keeps doing its own work under its own name. Connect Helm is the service the two run together.
Watchman IT Services
Monitoring, backups, helpdesk, Microsoft 365, procurement and compliance readiness for small businesses. The alerts go to Watchman, not the client; once a month the client gets a one-page plain-English report.
Still separate: Watchman continues to handle IT and security for Connect Helm clients under its own agreement.
Red Ridge AI
Voice and chat agents, automations, back ends and technical SEO for growing small businesses — deployed in weeks and owned by the client. Built the voice agents, CRM automations and search work Connect Helm runs, and every agent on the demo page.
Still separate: Red Ridge keeps building for its own clients; Connect Helm is the managed service on top of that work.

Call recordings and customer records are held in the US, with access limited to named staff at the two firms.
